Con i tempi che corrono conviene "ingegnarsi" e darsi un tocco di glam da soli...o massimo con gli aiuti e i suggerimenti di stile di Teen Vogue.

Oggi vediamo come rendere eccezionale e sparkling una vecchia felpa...anonima, perchè senza storia e senza futuro.

Let's customize a gray long-sleeve sweatshirt, following the tips of the designer Peter Som.

Procuratevi

una felpa

delle forbici, un ago e del filo

colla per tessuto

perline o Swarovsky

You need

Gray long-sleeve sweatshirt (Som used American Apparel)
Scissors, needle, and gray thread
Fabric glue Crystals of varying sizes

Step 1

Indossate la felpa in modo da decidere il punto da cui far partire il taglio. Dopo mettetela su un piano orizzontale e procedete.

Try the sweatshirt on, and mark where you want the short sleeves to hit. Lay it flat on a table and cut a straight line along that point.

Step 2

Salvate i polsini dalla manica tagliata via e con l'aiuto di ago e filo, ricuciteli all'estremità della manichetta, che avete creato.

Using the wrist cuffs from the severed sleeves, cut along the seam of each band, and sew onto the cut edge of each short sleeve.

Step 3

Posizionate sulla felpa i cristalli, le perline, i bottoni ecc. in modo da creare un disegno e poi procedede a cucirli o incollarli man mano, mantenendo il progetto iniziale.

Arrange the Swarovski crystals in the desired pattern. Next, sew or glue them on, depending on the type of crystals used.

Step 4

ecco a voi la vostra T-shirt...fai da te...carina vero!

Non so quanto e se siete amanti del fai-da-te, ma io lo sono da morire mi piace costruire, tagliare, incollare, verniciare, fare il decupage ecc. ecc....quindi quando ho visto i consigli della stilista Erin Fetherston su come creare un meraviglioso cerchietto da soli...no ho potuto resistere.

I don't if and how much you love the DiY, but I really love it. I love to draw, to cut, to paint, to glue, to mix different materials and things...so when a found the precious suggestion of the designer Erin Fetherston on how to make a perfect headband, I could not resist.

Quello che serve è:

- un cerchietto di plastica sottile

- dei rametti di fiori finti

- 2 metri di nastro di velluto nero

- la pistola di colla a caldo

- le forbici

You need

- a thin plastic headband
- sprigs of faux flowers
- two yards of black velvet ribbon
- hot glue gun
- scissors

Ecco a voi le immagini.

Step one:
posizionate i rametti di fiori finti, facendo attenzione a non far cadere i petali e a non sovrapporli troppo. Cominciate poi ad incollarli partendo dalla cima.

Cut small sprigs from a branch of silk cerry blossoms. Try to keep at least three tiny buds attached to each item. Begin by gluing sprigs to the top of the headband.

Step two:

Arrotolate il nastro di velluto nero intorno al cerchietto. Non dimenticate di lasciare abbastanza nastro libero su entrambe le stremità, necessario per legarlo- appena finito- sotto la nuca. Usate la colla a caldo per fissare bene il nastro, cercando di evitare sbavature.

Wrap a ribbon around the headband, leaving enough excess on each end to tie behind your head. Weave ribbon through the blossoms, wrapping tightly. Glue in place as you go.

Done, your heandband is ready.
