Fare un pezzo su Wrangler Blu Bell, è il compito che mi è stato affidato un Sabato piovoso di fine Febbraio. Perfetto, mi dico, mentre digito ancora assonnata, sulla barra di Google, il nome del sito da cui partire. Pochi secondi et voilà.

Mi ritrovo dinanzi un uomo – il modello antimodello per eccellenza, Tony Ward - che con aria ammiccante mi invita a tirargli giù la zip…del giubbino naturalmente. Entro così nel mondo di Wrangler Blue Bell, una collezione e un sito web, destinati a cambiare il modo di interagire e fare comunicazione sulla moda e per la moda.

Non più manichini senz’anima, ma ragazzi che con un semplice clic possono essere animati e messi a nudo, sono lì per testimoniare l’essenza di una collezione, unica nel suo genere, capace di combinare qualità eccezionale e design, tessuti di alto livello con manifatture al limite della perfezione.

Una moda “con i fiocchi” si annuncia questa primavera. E’ come se, al posto di boccioli profumati e delle corolle delicate, sulle passerelle, fossero spuntati cumuli di fiocchi, in ogni dove, dagli abiti alle acconciature, dai gioielli agli accessori.

Un mondo che s’infiocchetta dunque, per meglio affrontare quello che verrà, con una crisi ancora nell’aria, ma molta, anzi moltissima, voglia di riprendersi e divertirsi. Magari con un fiocco. Magari con più di uno.

Colorati, ironici, divertenti, un po’ da ragazzina lolitiana, i fiocchi – complici i ruggenti Ottanta, sempre in agguato- sono il leit motiv della stagione e assolutamente non ci si risparmia in materia.

Di cappe celebri è pieno il mondo.
Quella di cappuccetto rosso ad esempio, ci segue dall’infanzia; da quando, cioè, abbiamo imparato a non andare in giro da sole nel bosco e ad usare i cestini di vimini come borsette glamour à porter.
Poi, c’è quella scura e misteriosa di Dracula, il principe dei vampiri, che nell’immaginario la indossa sempre accompagnandola – in una specie di tetro pan-dan, al rosso delle sue labbra assetate di sangue.
Altra cappa, e naturalmente altra storia, è quella arguta e risoluta, amata dal re dei gialli, Sherlock Holmes, che a sua volta la abbina alla pipa e al berretto, british style.
